my best friends are dead they've been dead since I met them it does them no good always running around they swallowed what they were fed filled up on bullshit that's easy to digest takes no work to keep it down but you get hungry so easy you throw up from sleeping until the truth seeps into you someday you'll drown I've been trying hard to take it easy I've been trying not to try I've been thinking of ways to make my brain slow down but I can't think of why my best friends are dead they've been dead since I met them it does me no good keeping them around I swallowed what they fed to me let the cold hands reach right through me I sucked the bones dry like a good friend ought to do and I'm still waiting to come to I won't let you let go no I let go of letting you though I know you'll still try to try wish you would get back in that hole down in the ground and stop asking me to die
